TapRater provides NFC review stickers along with a hosted review page and a software subscription. When a customer taps your sticker with their phone, they are taken to your TapRater review page. The subscription is $25 per month (CAD), billed through Stripe. A one-time custom sticker design is available for an additional $5 if you want your sticker branded with your logo, colors, or a custom shape.
The TapRater subscription is $25 per month CAD, charged through Stripe.
If something goes wrong - the sticker never arrived, there is a defect, or the service is not working as described - email us at dylan@taprater.ca and we will do our best to make it right. We review refund requests case by case and are reasonable about it.
When a customer taps your sticker, they are asked to rate their experience. Customers who rate positively are directed to your Google Business Profile to leave a public review. Customers who rate negatively are shown a private feedback form where they can share their experience directly with you, the business owner, instead of going to Google.
This routing is a common feature in review management tools. You are responsible for how you use the private feedback you receive. The goal of the service is to help you collect more reviews from happy customers while giving you a chance to address concerns from unhappy ones before they leave publicly.
By using TapRater you agree to:
Your sticker and hosted review page remain active while your subscription is active. If a subscription is cancelled or payment lapses, TapRater may deactivate the sticker link. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you before that happens.
TapRater is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service running reliably, but we do not make guarantees about uptime, review outcomes, or Google ranking results. The number of reviews you receive depends on customer behavior, which we cannot control.
To the extent permitted by law, TapRater's liability for any claim arising from use of this service is limited to the amount you paid in the month the issue occurred. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved under Ontario jurisdiction.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will let you know by email. Continued use of the service after notice of a change means you accept the updated terms.
